Infographics are those cool poster-like images you see on the web and in magazines. They are “graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly.” Infographics combine many elements of learning: research, the writing process, data gathering and the synthesizing knowledge, all combined digitally. When students create infographics, they are using information, visual, and technology literacies. Infographics turn data into striking visual stories, turning data into meaningful interpretations of learning.
